Our Belief Statements

We believe in the Godhead that exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are one God, having precisely that same nature, attributes, and perfections, and are worthy of the same homage, confidence and obedience. Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30, Acts 5:3-4, 2 Corinthians 13:14

WE believe that the Lord Jesus Christ voluntarily died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world, and bearing the holy judgements against sin, which the righteousness of God imposed. Also, we believe that according to the Scriptures, He arose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He had lived and died. Furthermore, His resurrection body is a pattern of the body which will ultimately be given to all believers. Luke 1:30-35, John 1:1, John 1:14, John 1:18, John 20:20, Romans 3:25-26, 2 Corinthians 5, Philippians 2:5-11 Philippians 3:20, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 10:5-14

WE believe that the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead who took up His abode in the world in a special way on the day of Pentecost according to the divine promise, He now indwells every born again believer, and by His baptism, He unites all to Christ in one body and He is the source of all power and acceptable worship and service and righteous living. All who receive Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit who regenerates them, indwells them, baptizes them, seals them, and gifts them. John 3:3-6, Romans 5:5, Romans 8:9-11, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 4:30, Titus 3:5

WE believe in the Bible as the inerrant inspired Word of God. The divine inspiration extends to all parts of the Bible. We also believe that all the Scriptures center on the Lord Jesus Christ in His person and work in His first and second coming. The Scriptures are also, designed for our practical instruction. Luke 24:44-48, Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21
WE believe in the Church as an elect company of believers who are united to the risen and ascended Savior through the baptism of the Holy Spirit into one body which began at Pentecost. Its mission is to witness concerning its head, Jesus Christ, preaching the gospel among all nations. In addition to loving one another with a pure and fervent heart. It will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air when He appears to set up His Kingdom. There is a promised reward in heaven for faithful service. Matthew 16:16-18, Matthew 28:18-19, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:42-47, 1 Corinthians 3:12-15, 2 Corinthians 5:11-21, Romans 5:12, Ephesians 4:3-10, Ephesians 4:13-16

WE believe that the Scriptural ordinances of Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are for all believers in this church age. Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Acts 10:47-48, 1 Corinthians 11:26

WE believe that God has ordained men to have final authority and responsibility for the church. Mark 3:13-19, Acts 20:17, Acts 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:1-2, 1 Peter 5:1-4, 1 Corinthians 11:2-16, 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, Timothy 2:11-15

…However, God also desires to use women in significant areas in the church based on their giftedness such as: ministry in personal evangelistic ministries around the world, John 4:39, Romans 1:14-17

…teaching ministries to women and children. Romans 12:7

…Service ministries such as visitation, benevolence, and hospitality. James 1:27, Romans 16:1-2

….assisting her husband in his ministries. Genesis 2:18-23, Romans 16:3, 1Timothy 3:11

…family ministries to her children. 1Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 1:5, 2 Timothy 3:15, Proverbs 31:10-31

….counseling ministries to other women and in many other ways. Titus 2:4-5

WE believe that divine, enabling gifts for service are bestowed by the Spirit upon all who have trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. While there is a diversity of gifts, each believer is energized by the same Spirit, and each is called to his own divinely appointed service to the glory of God, the edification of the church, and the good of   this fallen world. 1 Corinthians 1:26-31, 1 Corinthians 12:4-31, Ephesians 4:15-16, Philippians 2:12-16, Colossians 3:16, Romans 12:3-8

WE believe in the sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as tongues and the gift of healing are still operable today, but must be used in accordance with 1 Corinthians 12 and 14 and in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 13. 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 14, 1 Corinthians 13

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper to be observed by all believers until His return. Matthew 28:19, Luke 22:19-20, Acts 10:47-48
WE believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost. John 14:1-3, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Titus 2:11-15, Philippians 3:19

WE believe in the personal pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the air to receive to Himself His own who are alive, and He will bring with Him all who have fallen asleep in Christ. Deuteronomy 30:1-10, Isaiah 11:9, Ezekiel 37:21-28, Matthew 24:15-25, Acts 15:16-17, Romans 8:19-23, Romans 11:25-27, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Timothy 4:1-3,1 Timothy 4:1-3, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Revelation 20:1-3

WE believe Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but in Adam all of mankind fell into sin and lost his spiritual life and became subject to the power of Satan. This also resulted in the entire human race becoming depraved and separated from God so that all of mankind are sinners, and hopelessly sinful in themselves apart from the grace of God. Genesis 1:26 Genesis 2:17, Genesis 6:5, Jeremiah 17:9, Psalm 14:1-3, Psalm 51:5, John 3:6, John 5:40, John 6:35, Romans 3:10-19, Romans 8:6-7, Ephesians 2:1-3, 1 Timothy 5:6, 1 John 3:8
WE believe in the person of Satan, the devil, who is the originator of sin, the prince of demons and is a declared adversary of God and man. We believe that Satan was judged at the Cross, though not executed, and now rules as the god of this world in a limited capacity by God. However, when the Lord Jesus Christ returns Satan will be bound and cast into the abyss for a thousand years and eventually cast into the lake of fire where he will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Ephesians 2:2, 1 Peter 5:8, Colossians 2:13-15, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Revelation 20:1-3, Revelation 20:10

WE believe that God created an innumerable company of sinless, spiritual beings, known as angels, but one named Lucifer, son of the morning, sinned through pride thereby becoming Satan, and that a great company of angels followed him in his unholy agenda against God and His people. Therefore, angels currently exist as fallen and unfallen. Isaiah 14:12-17, Ezekiel 28:11-19, I Timothy 3:6, 2 Peter 2:4, Jude 6, Revelation 12:9

We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they have been born again. No degree of reformation, morality, good works, religion, no sincere effort, no resolution, no good feelings, or church sacrament merits salvation. Salvation comes only through faith in Christ alone, who died as substitutionary sacrifice for our sins and rose on the third day. John 3, John 5:24, Acts 4:12, Acts 16:31, Romans 5:1, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 2:8-9

We believe the grace of God to be sufficient for the maintenance of a godly walk, and that Christ and not the law is the believer’s rule of life. Romans 6:11-13, Romans 8:1-4, Romans 8:12-13, Galatians 5:16-23, Ephesians 4:22-24, Colossians 2:1-10, 1 Peter 1:14-16, 1 John 1:4-7, 1 John 3:5-9

We believe that because of the very nature of God’s gift of eternal life, that all true believers everywhere, once saved they shall be kept forever saved. This is in accordance with the unending intercession and advocacy of Jesus Christ in heaven, the forever abiding presence of the Holy Spirit in the heart of believers, and Christ’s commitment to present us faultless before the Father. John 5:24, John 10:28-30, John 14:16-17, Romans 8:29, 1 Cor. 6:19, Eph. 4:30, 1 John 2:1-2, 1 John 5:11-13

We believe that God has ordained the sacred institution of marriage to only exist between a  man and a woman according to Genesis 2. Therefore, based on God’s Inspired Word, we as a born again body of believers oppose homosexual unions and marriages. Nevertheless, we as a born again body of believers will show the love of Jesus Christ and share the gospel of Jesus Christ when necessary to all engaged in a homosexual lifestyle, in order that they may be set free from the power of homosexuality. Furthermore, we will not honor, recognize, sanction, participate or perform marital ceremonies for those intentionally living outside the will of God as homosexuals or any model of marriage or sexual disobedience. (i.e. – adultery, fornication, bestiality, polygamy) that has not been ordained in Scripture. On the other hand, we as a body of believers are willing to graciously assist in love all who are ready to turn from their sin and live in agreement with God’s will. Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:24-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 6:1-2, 1 Timothy 1:8-11
